San Juan, La Union – The Department of Education Regional Office I (DepEd ROI) through the Quality Assurance Division (QAD) spearheaded the Fourth Quarter Regional Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (RMEA) for the 14 Schools Division Offices (SDOs) at the Awesome Hotel this municipality.

The activity aimed to present quarterly accomplishments in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities (PPAs); identify issues, concerns, and bottlenecks, including the hindering and facilitating factors that affect their delivery and implementation; determine needed adjustments to existing policies and the technical assistance that will be provided to SDOs; and identify the lessons learned.

The SDOs were expected to conduct their Division Monitoring, Evaluation, and Adjustment (DMEA) before the RMEA.

They shall as well submit a quarterly accomplishment report vis-à-vis Work and Financial Plan for Fiscal Year 2020 to be uploaded in the PMIS.

The participants include schools division superintendent (SDS), assistant SDS, planning officers, senior education program specialist, and some DepEd ROI personnel.

The QAD led by Chief Education Supervisor Oscar P. Flores shall monitor and evaluate the conduct of DMEA to document effective practices that help increase the key performance indicators and harvest issues and concerns to be presented during the RMEA proper scheduled for April 23-24, 2020.
