Batac City, Candon City, Dagupan City, La Union, and Urdaneta City were the five schools division offices conferred with the Level II Maturity for Programs to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office I, on March 31, 2023.
 
Schools Division Superintendents (SDSs), Assistant SDSs, and key division office personnel received their plaques from CSC.
 
In his message, CSC Commissioner Atty. Karlo B. Nograles shared that “PRIME- HRM is designed to encourage creativity, innovativeness, integrity, and productivity in public service by recognizing, awarding, and providing incentives to agencies that met certain levels of maturity indicators.”
“We want to be recognized because it ensures us of a systematized human resource management division in our respective offices and it is an assurance that we are serving our people well,” Regional Director Tolentino G. Aquino, said in his message, encouraging other SDOs also to take on the said HRM journey.
 
He added that PRIME- HRM’s whole process and principles are aligned with DepEd’s National Quality Management System.
 
Region I has the highest percentage of division offices recognized with the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award in the entire DepEd system.
 
On November 2021, the RO I was also conferred with the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award.
