The Quality Assurance Division (QAD), in partnership with Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU), is developing an enhanced Electronic Application for Private Schools and Records Management (EAPS) and Public Schools Online Application (PSOA) system.

During a consultative meeting held on October 1 and 2, attended by select private and public school stakeholders, school division personnel, and regional office staff, proposed improvements to the online systems were discussed.

Marydel Estira, DMMMSU Mid La Union focal person for Extension Services, presented the results of the monitoring and evaluation of both systems while Alvin Malicdem, dean of DMMMSU’s College of Information Technology (CIT), shared updates on system improvements for users.

The EAPS platform facilitates applications from private schools to the regional office for government permits to operate, government recognition, Senior High School (SHS) strands, requests for tuition and other school fee increases, and Special Orders for Graduation.

Meanwhile, the PSOA platform processes applications from public schools for the establishment, merging, naming or renaming, separation of schools, and inclusion of new SHS strands.
