University officials of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Education on the deployment of pre-service teachers for field study and teaching internship on January 11, at DepEd Region I Executive Conference Hall.
Regional Director Tolentino G. Aquino, Schools Division Superintendents Atty. Donato D. Balderas, Jr., Dr. Rowena C. Banzon, Dr. Aguedo C. Fernandez, and Assistant SDS Wilfredo E. Sindayen were signatories to the MOA.
Signatories from DMMMSU include President Jaime I. Manuel, Jr. and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Elsie M. Pacho, Chancellors Dr. Joanne C. Rivera, Dr. Eduardo C. Corpuz, and Dr. Junifer Rey E. Tabafunda; Open University System Executive Director Cristina G. Guerra; and Deans Dr. Nona M. Rivera, Dr. Cedric Anthony E. Ochoco, and Dr. Nora A. Oredina.
The pre-service training program will develop set competencies for beginning teachers.
