The Union Christian College (UCC) inks a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office and the City Schools Division of San Fernando (CSDSF), on November 4, at the DepEd Region I Conference Room.
The partnership aims to promote and teach reading among public elementary learners by conducting reading enhancement programs.
San Fernando South Central School was identified as the partner school of UCC in its Service-Learning Program.
The memorandum of understanding for partnership and cooperation was signed by UCC President Rev. Dr. Ferdinand A. Anno, Regional Director Tolentino G. Aquino, and Schools Division Superintendent Rowena C. Banzon.
Also present during the event are Chief Education Program Supervisor (CES) Maria Teresa M. Bautista from the Field Technical Assistance Division, CES Arlene A. Niro from the Curriculum and Learning Management Division, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) Sheila Marie N. Bugayong from the CSDSF, EPS Johnson P. Sunga, EPS Joselito D. Daguison, and EPS Myla V. Lalicon.
Meanwhile, Dr. Anno is joined by UCC Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Marilou L. Agustin, Dean Cherrel G. Ignacio, and Dr. Manelyn I Cacho, center director for Community Engagement and Technological Innovations and Development.
